Options for sharing assessment results
Sharing assessment results with employees is an important part of the review process, promoting transparency and growth. Quinto offers several sharing options, from full automation to a more controlled approach. This article outlines the workflow and use cases of each option to guide your selection.
Regardless of the option selected, review administrators can always share results directly (option 2).

The options available depend on the type of review you’re setting up:

Option 1: Automatic workflow
Description:
Once the manager submits, the subject receives an email with a link to view results.
The confirmation email sent to the manager mentions that the subject can see their feedback.
When to use it: Use this option when you want to ensure that employees quickly receive their results without manual intervention.
Option 2: Administrator workflow
Description:
Once the manager submits, the administrator can share results.
Once shared, the subject receives an email with a link to view results.
The subject receives an email and a task if they’re required to acknowledge sharing.
When to use it: This option is best when administrators want to review the results before sharing them, but aren’t involving managers in the process.
Option 3a: Manager workflow (immediate)
Description:
Once the manager submits, they receive an email and a task to share results.
This email encourages the manager to schedule a discussion with the subject.
If the administrator shares results, the manager’s sharing task is canceled
Once shared, the subject receives an email with a link to view results.
The subject receives an email and a task if they’re required to acknowledge sharing.
When to use it: This option is ideal when you want to help managers be directly involved in employee feedback and development. It allows managers to personally share results, creating opportunities for follow-up discussions.
Option 3b: Manager workflow (schedule)
Description:
If the manager has submitted, they receive an email and a task to share results on the scheduled date. If they haven't submitted, they won’t receive the email or task until 15 minutes after they do.
This email encourages the manager to schedule a discussion with the subject.
If the administrator shares results, the manager’s sharing task is canceled
Once shared, the subject receives an email with a link to view results.
The subject receives an email and a task if they’re required to acknowledge sharing.
When to use it: This option provides full control over timing. Administrators can review manager scores and investigate more lenient or severe ratings, reopening assessments as needed. This approach gives time for calibrating results before managers discuss those results with employees.
