Compare competency and skill levels

Take advantage of the level comparison tool to ensure that as you build a job description, your choices are consistent with other jobs.

When you’re editing a job, click the line graph icon to open the comparison window. Select up to three other jobs to compare item levels. The competencies or skills are listed alphabetically. Jobs you select for competencies will also appear when you open the comparison window for skills, and vice versa.

The jobs you choose to compare remain selected if you leave the job and come back, so you can pick up where you left off. Note that if you select a published job that has a draft version, the levels from the draft version are displayed.
