Choose your core competencies

Competencies included on all jobs are core competencies. They pinpoint critical strengths and values shared by everyone in the organization across all departments. This might be a competency like Teamwork, Safety, or Client Focus. Follow the steps below to send out a core competency survey, add the final selections to the job descriptions in your site, and display core competencies on your Quinto homepage.

Collecting input from employees

We recommend involving employees when it comes to choosing your organization’s core competencies. In Quinto, you can send out a survey with a shortlist of potential core competencies. Participants can add comments to capture the rationale behind their competency selections. Using the survey tool is a great way to document your competency profiling process. Learn more

Adding core competencies to jobs

  1. Click the gear icon on the top right of your screen.

  2. Select General administration in the drop-down.

  3. Click Architecture under Content in the side menu.

  4. Click +Add in the Core competencies section.

  5. Select a published competency and click Add.

  6. Click the pending updates icon to apply the change to published jobs.
