Job review cycles

Available on Plus and Compliance plans

Quinto allows you to define review cycles that automate reminders to update jobs. You can choose how often you want to conduct reviews as well as the length of the notice period before a job is due. Review cycles are managed on the job template. This means you can turn on review cycles for some jobs but not others if you have multiple templates.

Setting up review cycles

Follow the steps below to set up a review cycle. Jobs will be flagged for review as they enter the notice period based on their last published date. Job group owners and users with permission to manage jobs will receive a task to mark the job as reviewed. Users who only have permission to access jobs won’t see review cycle information.

  1. Click the gear icon on the top right of your screen.

  2. Select General administration in the drop-down.

  3. Click Job templates under Content in the side menu.

  4. Click the Job descriptions template.

  5. Click the three dot icon beside Review cycle.

  6. Select Turn on in the drop-down.

  7. Click Review cycle to open the side panel.

  8. Make adjustments to the number of days and click Save.

Changing the review date on an individual job

Changing the cycle duration or notice period doesn’t affect previously published jobs, but you can always edit the review date on an individual job if it needs to be adjusted.

  1. Click Jobs in the top nav.

  2. Filter by Upcoming review.

  3. Click the name of the job in the table.

  4. Click the date in the banner.

  5. Select a new date and click Save.

Review dates vs due dates

Published jobs can have review due dates and draft jobs can have due dates. Editing a published job creates a draft version that inherits the review date as its due date. Changing the review date on the published job updates the due date on the draft version; changing the due date on the draft version updates the review date on the published job.

Viewing review history

Each review is tracked in a job's history, providing transparency about who marked the job as reviewed and ensuring accountability in the review process.

  1. Click Jobs in the top nav.

  2. Click the name of the job in the table.

  3. Click the History tab.

  4. Click the count to see the reviewer’s name and date.
